DIY Electric Unicycle With Gyro Stabilization
On the surface a DIY Electric Unicycle sounds like a dangerous, dangerous idea. Rodger Cleye’s design, however, looks pretty tame. For one thing, it does not go terribly fast, and for another, it has gyro-stabilization to help keep you on and a safety lanyard to shut it down in case you fall off. The Magic Wheel
The lowly skateboard was in dire need for a technological upgrade. And it got it in the form of The Magic Wheel. This is not a sort of skateboard you’d want to jump off ramps or slide down banisters with. The Magic Wheel is more utilitarian than that, an excellent vehicle for making your way around urban areas (once you get the hang of how to use one). The Magic Wheel has the maneuverability of a skateboard. Like a skateboard, it is also near-instantaneous to get on and off. It also has some pr

earthday!
a while back it was earthday…and i wanted to do something special that day. i haven’t been riding my bike that much, but still, riding my bike to work didn’t seem that special. besides i figured that there would be tons of people out there doing the same thing. so i decided to ride my unicycle to work! my average speed was about 10mph. it was pretty tough, mostly because my but is not used to being in the saddle that long. only one horn honk.

GTA V Cities Announced
With the success of GTA IV, the search is on for the next city to model the GTA world after. What are the choices? Only Sarcastic Gamer knows, in this exclusive article! From the story: "Beijing is also major transportation hub. Getting to run around and car jack people deep inside Red China would be quite taboo, especially since the cops are just like the army and will shoot you for looking at them the wrong way, although Rockstar lists this as a positive. The good news is that you will alwa

Wow Just Like Magic!
It’s an encouraging sign surely but I wish the products weren’t this embarrassing. It’s rare enough that Carrefour now sells unicycles but today, I saw that Watson’s sells impossible wheel clones. It’s called a Magic Wheel and apparently, in the time I spent living under a rock, it became the ‘latest craze’ to hit town. They sell for $349. This is my BC wheel. I’d sell it to you for $150. Here’s a Magic Wheel video. Here’s an Impossible Wheel video. I actually tried out the Magic

Unicycle Loves You & So Do I
David Bowie had lunch with Rick Ocasek from the Cars the other day. After finishing their mango chicken salad and pesto panini, they agreed they would form a super alliance called Unicycle Loves You that would single handedly take down inner city crime. No wait…that didn’t happen…but ultimately that’s what listening to Unicycle Loves You brought out of me. A touch of Ziggy, a touch of My Best Friend’s Girl, and a touch of the unknown(oooh scary). This Chicago band headed up by Jim Carroll is se

More about my Sunday walk
When telling you about my walk around the park on Sunday, I forgot to tell you a couple of things that I saw! The first (and best) was a man riding a unicycle! I kid you not! It was great. I don’t know how he was doing it, but it looks like a great ab workout. The second was this one bench. Every time I passed by, there was someone different sitting on it. On my final lap, a man was sitting there with his girlfriend (at least I assume it was his girlfriend since she had her head in his

Unicycle Loves You - S/T Review
Unicycle Loves You is a band out of Chicago, Illinois. They are said influenced by music from the 50s, the psychedelic 60s, and rock of the 80s but to be honest I think my experience with those times are limited so I can’t vouch for those comparisons. On their myspace, they use “ghettotech” as a genre and because I don’t think I’m going to have much to say when reviewing this album…let’s talk about what “ghettotech” is. I’ve seen a few bands with this label on their myspace and I don’t use mys

Unparalleled Success
Owing to the egregious lack of free time in my schedule over the course of the past few weeks I didn’t expect to see any real progress when, last Firday, I decided to hop on my unicycle and take a few laps around town. Just to give me something to do with my hands, and in an attempt to casually further my goal of juggling clubs on the unicycle, I brought along two clubs to toss around during the ride. After about 10 minutes or so of this, I was surprised by how well I was doing, so I swung b
