DIY Electric Unicycle that Balances itself!

Download latest version of Flash to view video!. Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode Woohoo, I need a unicycle like this one! The UNIQUECYCLE is an upgraded GEN2 unicycle featured below. It has been boosted to a 60V system yielding in excess of 1000W. The NiMh battery system has been replaced by SLA technology. The SLA is lower cost, easier to recharge and handles regeneration and peak current demands effectively. The higher voltage results in higher top-end speed. Speed overhead is crit

The reinvented wheel: Magic Wheel

This is probably the safest skateboard/roller-blade/scooter/unicycle ever invented. That’s what I think because the wheel is much like a bicycle wheel so you won’t be troubled by small rocks or concrete edges. It’s such a good invention for people who don’t have to travel very far and don’t have a place to park their bikes or just because you want to go faster than walking. Just watch the video and you’ll see that it looks very easy to ride.

DIY Electric Unicycle With Gyro Stabilization

On the surface a DIY Electric Unicycle sounds like a dangerous, dangerous idea. Rodger Cleye’s design, however, looks pretty tame. For one thing, it does not go terribly fast, and for another, it has gyro-stabilization to help keep you on and a safety lanyard to shut it down in case you fall off. The Magic Wheel

The lowly skateboard was in dire need for a technological upgrade. And it got it in the form of The Magic Wheel. This is not a sort of skateboard you’d want to jump off ramps or slide down banisters with. The Magic Wheel is more utilitarian than that, an excellent vehicle for making your way around urban areas (once you get the hang of how to use one). The Magic Wheel has the maneuverability of a skateboard. Like a skateboard, it is also near-instantaneous to get on and off. It also has some pr

That's an "impossible wheel" on the left, with it's easy-to-ride brother the "unicycle" on the right.

earthday!

a while back it was earthday…and i wanted to do something special that day. i haven’t been riding my bike that much, but still, riding my bike to work didn’t seem that special. besides i figured that there would be tons of people out there doing the same thing. so i decided to ride my unicycle to work! my average speed was about 10mph. it was pretty tough, mostly because my but is not used to being in the saddle that long. only one horn honk.
